With cherished memories for a life well-lived, the family of John Kowalchuk of Calgary, AB, announces his passing on Monday, May 2, 2022, at the age of 84 years.
John will be forever remembered and loved by his wife of 61 years, Shirley; his four children, Jonny (Jeanine), Laurie (Jim), David, and Richard; four grandchildren Jonathan (Rachel), Tiffany (Michael), Whitney (Salman), Janae (David); one great-grandchild, Maggie; one sister, Ann (Harvey); one sister-in-law, Kaye; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. John was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Steve.
A Celebration Service will be held, at First Alliance Church (12345 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Kowalchuk’s service streamed live at: https://www.faccalgary.com/media/video/livestream/index.php?VideoID=19831 on the day of the service.
