Obituary of Lily Irene Stephenson

Lily Irene Stephenson (nee Trautman), beloved wife of the late Robert Hugh Stephenson, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the age of 88 years.
Lily was born in Rimbey, AB, on August 5, 1933. She moved to Calgary, AB, in 1951. Lily married Robert Stephenson in 1959. Lily enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, word searches and camping. She will be most remembered for her love of country music. One of Lily's favorite sayings was “be the labor great or small, do the job well, or don't do it at all”.
Lily is survived by her three sons, David Wayne Stephenson, (Patricia Stephenson) of Calgary, AB, Michael Shane Stephenson, (Linda Stephenson) of Calgary, AB, Robbie Lane Stephenson, (Valerie Stephenson) of Chestermere, AB. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Nicole Dawn Stephenson, and Mikala Shane Stephenson of Hagerstown, Maryland, USA. Lily is also survived by her one of her sisters Pat Praud (nee Trautman) of Calgary, AB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis and Holloway (Heritage, 1708 -16 Avenue Northwest, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, May 14, 2022, Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Funeral Service starts at 12:00 p.m. A Private Graveside Service will follow.
