Condolences
Liebe Familie,
ich habe Joan leider nicht selbst gekannt, aber es ist immer sehr traurig ein Familienmitglied, vor allem die Mutter, zu verlieren.
Ich bin in Gedanken bei euch.
Ingrid Bettel
We'll miss you dear, dear friend!
Joan was bubble gum to champagne and that's what made her such a wonderful exciting friend.
Blue jeans to ball gowns Joan was comfortable in any situation and we always had a fun time when she was in charge of
planning the event. My friend had so many experiences, that we could write a good book about her life. The ups, downs and the many victories that she and her husband Bill accomplished. Joan's most precious gems Daughter Suzanne, Granddaughter's Cecily & Katarina brought her the greatest joy! The stars will sparkle brighter now that you're in the heavens.
I am sorry for your loss and my condolences to you.
Joan was such a great person, she will live on in our memories forever.
She was the daughter of Mary my mother's cousin. I first met her when she visited us with her husband Bill and her daughter Suzanne in Austria and I last saw her in 2010 when me and my sister Hilda were visiting Canada.
During our mutual visits, we have always spent wonderful days together.

Joan was a big part of my life. My mother met Joan when they sold Sarah Coventry jewelry. And my parents became good friends of Joan and Bill. That's how I met Suzanne. Suzanne and I were best friends and we grew up together. We practically lived at each other's homes. I remember some of the trips that I went on with them. One time I was with them out of town for new years eve. Bill and Joan went to the party and Suzanne and I were staying in the hotel room by ourselves. It was so exciting to be able to stay up until after midnight. I loved spending new years with my second family. Lol...I must say that Joan had so much patience and kindness with us girls. She never said a word when her house was upside down with barbies and model horses everywhere (we had a lot!). Anouther special time was when she took us to the salvation army to buy baby clothes for our dolls, unfortunately for my poodle and Joans poodle, Sheffy, they were dressed up too. Joan was a beautiful woman both inside and out and she will be a great addition to the angels in heaven. God bless you Joan. May her memories be a blessing
