Dear Sharon and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was an amazing man who always had a big smile on his face and a positive outlook in everything he did. My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time and he is going to be missed a great deal.
He was the finest man I ever met and I will always be humbled and grateful to have had him as my best friend throughout our lives.
I am grateful he is no longer suffering with pain and I know he is in the home of his God.
Rest In Peace my friend.

To Sharon and families. I want to extend my sincere sadden feelings to you all of the loss of a great family man and a hero to so many. I know how devastating it is for you all as relating to my own family sadness in December.
Ron to me was a man that was big in stature but gentle as a lamb in his kindness. He was soft spoken and always smiling . I have very good memories you and Ron especially the many trips we had together through the years with the Friendship Force. Now he has taken another journey on his own away from all his pain and suffering. I say goodbye to a very good friend.
Sending my love.
I wonder if heaven will ever be the same with Arlo and Ron entering the Pearly Gates?
Sharon, Kevin, Cory, Loren and families, we are so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. We will miss his kindness and caring, his visits and his sense of humour. There will be an empty chair at the card table at our annual pig roast and he will be remembered. Rest in peace our friend, you will be missed. Dianne Bunnah and family.
To you Sharon and each one of your family, my sincere sympathy and love. It is my privilege to be an 'old ' family friend with many happy memories of good times we've shared in Headingley, Vancouver Island and Airdrie over the years. I too commend Ron for his love, care and appreciation of his family and friends, and for his passion for work, play and life in general. May all of your happy memories bring you comfort, peace and strength now and in the days to come.
