As the first rays of the morning sun pass through the narrow crack of a drawn curtain, the room first fills with light and with the light comes warmth. Trisha was also that ray of sunlight. She was a teacher and the world was her classroom. She communicated her gifts with passion but was also a student that listened well and was able gain a better understanding in all conservations. We will all miss her sunshine.
We lack the words sufficient to express our condolences to her parents, Barb and Vic and her brother Terry.

I worked with Trish for several years at St. Augustine. Sharing the same supervision schedule with her was often the highlight of my day; we could talk about anything (the Royals-her favourite- , the news, work) but our supervision shifts almost always ended in belly laughs. She was incredibly kind, generous, and thoughtful. I still have the Disney outfit she bought my newborn son several years ago. I will never forget her kindness or the comfort I felt in her presence. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
I got my start to teaching subbing in Trish's ES1 classroom. Even after I left full-time teaching to pursue my master's degree Trish regularly sent me encouraging messages congratulating me on my successes and saying how excited she was for me pursuing school and clinical child psychology. Trish and her wonderful passion for Disney will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I supported Trish with her junior high ES1 class. She was always positive and truly loved the students in her class. I loved her fabulous Disney wardrobe too! She will definitely be missed.

Trish will be remembered as a person who selflessly gave of herself to others. She truly loved her students. I have fond memories of working with Trish at St. Augustine. Her love of all things Disney and the Monarchy will be among those fond memories. My prayers are with all of Trish’s loved ones during this sorrowful time.
