Obituary of Amanda Joelle Matheson

March 4, 1988 – London, Ontario

May 25, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Amanda Matheson, beloved wife of Charlie Matheson, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the age of 34 years.

Amanda graduated from the University of Calgary with a degree in Psychology.

Amanda married Charlie in 2016. She accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of being a mom to Bryden. She loved sports and enjoyed showing up men with her knowledge of hockey, football, and baseball.

Amanda’s most memorable vacation was realizing her dream of taking Bryden to Disneyland, this past April with Charlie. She will be most remembered for her happy infectious personality as well as her stubbornness.

Besides her loving husband, Charlie, Amanda is survived by her son, Bryden, her father, Joe McQueen, and his wife, Cindy Butler, her mother, Jackie Perrin, and her mother-in-law, Bernadette Matheson.

Amanda is also survived by her 2 brothers, Tanner, and Adam; her sister, Vanessa; her sisters-in-law, Samantha and Shania, and her brother-in-law, Zac; as well as her one niece, Scarlett, and two nephews, Logan and Ryker.

A Celebration of Life Service (Casual Service) will be held, on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person can view a recording of the service which will be posted on our website. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
