Condolences
I enjoyed getting to know Arnold, albeit only briefly; when I started getting acquainted with his lovely wife Dorothy, I found Arnold to be engaging, interested, gentle and generous. I could feel the love he had for her. Loving thoughts and prayers of hope and peace.
Our family always enjoyed visits with uncle Arnold and aunt Dorothy.
He particularly enjoyed talking and hearing about our youngest son- most likely because our son Joel was very talkative and was a risk taking kid that gave him many and varied experiences.
Uncle was a quiet, and very perceptive. He was always interested in our lives and our work place. He loved helping where he could.
Our lives were richer for having uncle in our family.
He will be missed. We look forward to Christ’s second coming for which he believed in as well.

Arnold was a happy, joyful man who enjoyed talking with people. We went on a Carribean cruise with he and Dorothy, and most times, rather than go sightseeing, he would find a place where people would pass by so he could speak with them. He was generous and would help people by giving them some money. We remember him not being in a rush on his trips, just enjoyed taking the scenery and people all in. He was very particular in taking care of his lawn and property. Now that he has passed away we will miss him very much. Harvey and Norma Bechthold (brother in law and sister in law), Vernon, BC
