Condolences
I met Pat many years ago at the Greater Salt Lake Model Competition. He was one of the most unforgettable characters because of his love for being the social butterfly of the event. Needless to say, he will be greatly missed at our event next year. My deepest sympathy to all the family for your loss.

Peter and I remember Pat so fondly. We had so much fun with Pat and the model guys. Pat was always a lech and so goofy.
I will always miss his hugs. Hugs to you old man. Say hi to my dad when you get there.
Dear God,
I am sending you my daddy, for your eternal loving care.
Couple things:
he's a little grumpy;
he's a lot gassy;
Feed him ice cream, and whatever you do, try not to piss him off.
Sincerely,
His loving daughter
Janice
I met Pat when I was 8 years old. I have known him for most of life and had the pleasure to call him , MY KING . He always had a moment to ask how my life was , even when I met him for the first time. He had a kind heart and a genuine soul. Humour , as well as a genuine love of people and their stories is what I will always be able to say never wavered about my king. His part in my life was one of friend , mentor and teacher. A man who could make anyone feel welcome . a loss for those who EVER had the pleasure to meet him.
To say we have lost one of our best maybe the greatest understatement of my life. Truth out loud Pat , good bye my King.
Pat Bibeau or just Bibeau was guy with a huge heart with a big sense of Humor ever since I first met him back in the Ipms Calgary days. Eventhough I have not seen much of him lately because life gets in the way I miss hanging out and listening to his blues collection. Pat the model community will miss you!
Pat had a dark side and led me astray to some dodgy, smoky, always gloomy dives that I wouldn't go to on my own to listen to the blues, his favourite music. There was soul, rock, swing and it was always good music (except the cowboy stuff) and stories and lots of laughter as others have mentioned, he just could not stop. Ever! I'll miss his camraderie and the fun we had at our hobby group which sometimes didn't allow for getting anything done. And he was Master of the Spray Paint Cans, getting the smoothest coats ever seen and fabulous model builds of cars. Miss you, Pat, catch up with you again one of these days!
Heartfelt condolences to the family.
This is a tiny fraction of the list of items Beebs received in exchange for hugs: cookies, sandwiches, t-shirts, chocolate, pea soup, and my favorite, beets. Beebs always had big squishy hugs for me, always made me feel special and welcome and loved. I miss that Old Guy Cute with the Eau de Bibeau that made him irresistible for hugging. Beebs' laughing so hard he gave himself a laughing headache always makes me giggle. Pat brought the fun, laughter, love, and party with him wherever he went. I know they're having the hugest party in heaven now that he's there!
Pat you will be missed by all and by the Band of Nerds. Your stories and your laughter were always welcoming. May you now enjoy limitless hobby time!
Pat, you handsome bastard. We always had so much fun, so many laughs. Always so much fun at Hobby "Nerd" Night. I'd go out for a smoke, and you would tag along. We would shoot the poop, catch up, and just laugh. You always asked how my kids were doing. I remember one night I was dancing with my wife in the kitchen. She said, "Where did you learn to dance like that?" I told her, "Pat taught me last night at "Nerd Night". I will miss you my friend. I will miss your smile, and laugh. I wish I could have bought you a few more magazines. Sleep well my friend.
