Condolences
I was very sad to hear the news of Tony's passing. I met him several years ago through Camp 17 Iron Ring Wardens. He had interviewed me and brought me on as an alternate volunteer warden.
He was so kind and friendly and he will be missed.
Noreen and family. My sincere condolences on the passing of Tony. He was a neighbour on Riverdale Ave when we were young. We saw each other infrequently as we followed our own paths but always shared the experience of growing up near the river in a much smaller city.
May he Rest In Peace. And may you have happy memories of him.
Sincerely
Ted Carruthers
I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Tony. He was always so kind to me during my time at the University of Calgary where I was friends with his son Ryan. After I completed my degree, Tony also has helped me with advice and a strategy that helped me land my first engineering job as a young EIT. Tony was an excellent example of a kind and thoughtful mentor and he will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to Noreen, Karen, Ryan and family.
Steve and Julia Siemens and Family.
Tony was an amazing Rotarian. I only knew him for a few years but felt like he was a friend forever. Kind, compassionate and caring would be how I would describe him. I always knew I'd find him at a certain table and often would go sit with him to absorb some awesome words of wisdom. He is sadly missed by all of us at the Rotary Club of Calgary.
Noreen, Daryl and families

Noreen, Daryl and families:
I am saddened to hear of Tony’s passing. I know how difficult these past few years have been but his passing reminds us of all the wonderful, positive memories we have of Tony. For me those memories go back to Central High School, early days at the Country Club and then more recent times, and many wonderful years in Rotary.
Tony was a terrific guy and a great Rotarian, with a strong sense of values and community service.
My sincere condolences to all of you at this difficult time but I know you will be left with so many warm, wonderful memories in the years to come.
Sue and I knew Tony in two important parts of his life; as a Lake Louise Ski Friend and as president of APEGA. Those were only two aspects of Tony's lifelong dedication to volunteer public service.
Tony was one of those truly GOOD people - to us a good friend and a good Friend.
Our sincere condolences to Noreen and the family.

So sorry to hear this sad news today via friends but what a wonderful, rich and fascinating life Tony has led. I first met Noreen and Tony in Montreal, playing badminton then reconnected when we moved to Calgary, so lifelong friends. He will definitely be missed. Loving thoughts go to Noreen, Ryan and Karen.
Dear Noreen and Family,
We were certainly sad to read of Tony's passing, however we know the last few years have not been easy. We will remember him as a great neighbour and a very fine gentleman. When he did his daily walks in the area, we could almost set our clocks by him as he came about the same time and was always up for a short visit! Keep your happy memories close and know that many have you in their thoughts. With our deepest sympathy,
Doug and Barbara Baldwin.
My most sincere condolences to the family of Tony Howard. Hold your memories dearly, may they bring you peace.
I first met Tony through Canadian Society for Engineering Management (CSEM) - what a delightful fellow! Years later when I joined the volunteers at Camp 18, I began to understand just how involved Tony was; it is through the efforts of people like Tony that made these organizations what they are today. I am honoured to follow in his footsteps and to have known Tony.
