Obituary of Milly Daniel

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Milly (Maynee) Daniels who reunited with our Creator on June 15, 2022, at the age of 92 years old.
Milly was born in Pekisko, Alberta
Milly was a humble, kind, loving, hard working mother. Milly enjoyed the traditional Stoney way of life making drymeat, tanning, beading, picking berries and making her own dresses.
Milly is survived by one daughter, Margaret Amos; her grandchildren Jolene, Olivia, Cory, Jamie, Heather (Sherman Stephens) Wendall (Leandra), Michelle Amos, Teresa and Lorenz Holloway, Cedric and Michelle Powderface; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Josie, Jayden, Brianna, Mircale Buffalo Amos, and Ava Lefthand. Milly is also survived by her great-great-grandchild Leo Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews from the Daniels, Ear, Holloway, Amos and Kootneys families.
Milly is predeceased by her parents Paul Sr. and Lucy Daniels; brothers Ken, Paul, Dave (Grace), Alex, and Scott Daniels; Uncles Wallace (Itazel) Ear, and Noah (Flora) Ear; grandparents Peter and Nancy Ear; grandchildren Bernadine and Anthony Holloway Prisella Amos; great-granddaughter Desina Holloway; daughter Shirley Holloway and son Fred Amos.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Jolene Amos (Morley, AB) on Sunday, June 19, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).
