Condolences
To George’s family and friends I send my deepest sympathy. George was always a fun loving and caring guy. We all had such great times dancing in Thunder Bay with Vesnyanka. May he Rest In Peace.

There are so many great memories of our time together in CTC. In this time of sadness at his passing you wish you could live them again. George knew where the best of everything Ukrainian was. We were in Edmonton and I wanted to take some good Alberta lol bass’s home to Winnipeg. George said let’s go, I know the place. Now the name of the shop escapes me but the smells were fantastic as you walked in the door. I ordered several rings and because a couple were extra garlic we got them like triple wrapped. Even so George’s car smelled of kolbassa but he and I loved it. We wrapped it up even better to put in my luggage. Suffice it to say I knew my bag made it to Winnipeg long before I saw it just based on the aroma of some of the bags on the carousel. We had a great laugh about that one the next day. It is funny what memories stick in your mind.
And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

RIP my friend, the pain is gone and your memory lives on
