Condolences
I'll miss Len. Played bridge with him and partner Shirley on many occasions at the Legion #285 and at Bow Cliff Seniors.
Rest easy.
I am a retired member & fondly remember Len "Pappy" Grant when I worked with him in Calgary. Len was a very stern NCO but fair at the same time & had my back on numerous occasions. My condolences to Len's family .
I have known Len for 20 years and hiked and played bridge with him many many times. His stories of being a lone RCMP officer in the earlier days of oil and gas drilling in northern Alberta were very interesting. On other occasions we would cross paths in various corners of the city while out for a bike ride. He liked his cycling as well. If you were ever able to set him in a doubled contract in bridge it invoked a very interesting response. He will certainly be missed.
I always wanted to hike in Lens group. He knew every mountain and all the trails. He will be missed.
