Obituary of Aislyn Curle Poucette

March 4, 2000 - Canmore, Alberta

July 9, 2022 – Morley, Alberta

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Aislyn Curle Poucette passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2022, in Morley, Alberta, at the age of 22.

She always had the biggest, brightest smile when you saw her. Aislyn always enjoyed basketball, horseback riding, paintball, quad riding, and she especially loved being outdoors. She was a gifted artist, always making beautiful sketches.

Aislyn had a passion for everything, she loved her music and her family. She was a genuine soul that always tried to see the good in everything.

She also loved her dog who she named Lucky Champ; they were inseparable. She also had two miniature horses named Butter Cup and Bubbles. Aislyn was very proud when her basketball team won the silver medal.

She was always independent, self-assured, and fearless from childhood. She grew up with all her cousins, mostly boys, and she had many, many brothers and fewer sisters in the family. She was always called “the dude with long hair” but always outlasted the boys. She loved taking pictures, dressing up, and was always changing her hair, keeping us guessing. Most importantly, she loved her little big brother Boiyer.

Aislyn was so excited to move to Canmore where she lived for four years working as a housekeeper. She worked her way up to assistant manager at Quality Resort Chateau, she then worked for Fairmont Regional Linen Services. She later returned to the ski lodge where she travelled to Banff and Lake Louise for work. She has accomplished so many things and gained so many friends along the way.
