Obituary of Gladys Pearl Casey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Gladys Pearl Casey (nee Smith), on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 89 years.

As her friends like to call her, “Casey” was a woman of many talents. She was an extraordinary cook, an amazing caregiver for her grandchildren and a great friend to sit and chat with over a cup of tea. She loved spending time with friends and family and of course, her favourite was going for “coffee”.

Gladys is survived by her sister Audrey Dodge, sister-in-law Olive Smith of New Brunswick, daughter Cindy Darlene Woo (née Wasson) (spouse Harry Woo), stepson Glen Wasson (spouse Glenda Wasson), grandchildren Shantel Kolins (spouse Michael Kolins), Braeden Woo, Jarred Woo, Mindy Wasson (spouse Paul Cormier), as well as great-grandchildren, Morgan, Eden, Nick, Jordan, and Mackenzie; and many family members from Calgary to New Brunswick.
