Obituary of Ronald Stephen Oneski

It is with profound sadness that the children of Ronald Stephen Oneski announce his sudden death on Wednesday, July 20,2022, after a brief illness. Ron passed away with his loving family by his side.
Ron was born the elder son of Peter and Cecila (Boucher) and lived his entire life in Calgary. From an early age, Ron was an avid hockey player. He had a real interest in cars and trucks, which was evidenced by the old vehicles he bought and customized. He was very proud of his accomplishments. This passion led him to attend SAIT and become an accomplished mechanic. Ron enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours snowmobiling, camping, boating, and traveling. Ron also enjoyed woodworking, playing darts, drinking beer, having a coffee and his dog, Rukus.
Family was very important to Ron, especially his one and only grandson, Kyle. They spent many hours of quality time together.
Ron leaves to mourn his passing his daughter, Cheryl Leanne; son Michael Dean (Natashya); stepson Jeffrey Stevenson (Cathy); grandson Kyle Robert, and companion Anne Hill. He was predeceased by his parents, and his younger brother Roger Norman.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday July 29, 2022, at 10:00 am. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery, 3219 - 4 St NW at 11:45 am. Please join our family at the Eagle's Hall, 9303 - 5 St SE, between 2-4pm for sharing special moments of Ron.
