Condolences
I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Lorne's passing, Marg. I have always believed his finding you brought the joy & love and chance of parenthood, Lorne deserved after Maureen's passing. He was most gracious in giving the toast at our wedding, and my childhood memories bring a smile to my face and heart. Lorne will always hold a special place in my heart, and know that he will always be with you.
I am sorry to be unable to celebrate Uncle Lorne's life with you tomorrow, as I have a prior family event to attend. Just know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for being in his life, and making his world that much brighter with your love and companionship.
With my deepest sympathy and hugs to all.

On behalf of the team at West Air, we are saddened about hearing of the passing of Lorne. He was close to us in business as a professional of integrity and personally as a gentleman supporting and advocating for our team. Lorne will be deeply missed.
Our condolences to the Baxter family.

Marg, family, Jackie and Gail,
It is with deep sadness to learn of our lifelong friend, Lorne’s passing. So many wonderful memories about Allan and I pedalling over to the Baxter farm from our farm to ride steers, hunt coyotes from horseback and playing two and two football. In later years we shared our love of sports especially hockey through the glory days of the Calgary Centennials onto the days of our beloved Calgary Flames.
We have much admiration for Lorne as a self made successful person with a good sense of humour but never losing his fun loving, friendly nature that we admired. When I think of Lorne I will always hear his friendly greeting “White Forty”…. with accompanying chuckle.
It is with the utmost regret that we will be out of the country with a Covid delayed family holiday and unable to pay our respects in person to Lorne and his family.
Our heartfelt condolences to all.

Marg etc al I have known Lorne both through business and as a friend for over fourty years. He was a tremendous person and in our business one of a kind. My deepest condolences
Dear Marg, Craig and Renia;
I always knew him as Uncle Lorne, though not a blood relative as my Dad’s oldest friend he was very much a part of our young lives and as a neighbour we knew that growing up if we needed anything we had family just up the street. His lawn was admired by all, and indeed there were rumours, though unconfirmed, that it was trimmed with scissors. His laugh and great sense of humour will be what I remember him for. I know his loss will be felt deeply by all who loved him and I am sending you our deepest sympathies.

Lorne was truly a special friend. He was family to us. His kindness, quiet sense of humour, interest in so many things, love of family endeared him to us. You knew Lorne “ had your back”.
We will cherish our memories of adventures near and far, of trips, of golf, of hiking, of eating.
Lorne will be in our hearts forever ♥️.
