Georgina Foley of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the age of 69 years.

Georgina was born in Revelstoke, BC on July 30, 1952, and moved between BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan throughout her life.

Georgina was particularly proud of her work helping people as a social worker over the years. Regardless of where she went she would lend an ear and offer support. She was a talented artist who painted, made jewelry, designed cards and wrote short stories. A favourite pastime was playing in the dirt to see her garden and flowers flourish.

Georgina is survived by her 2 daughters, Tammy Williams (Calgary) and Brenda and Robert Samletzki (Calgary); and her 3 grandchildren, Jada, Kennedy and Drew. Georgina is also survived by her twin-brother, George Foley (Sidney BC); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Georgina was predeceased by her sister Margaret McNeely.

Her infectious laugh and sense of adventure will forever be remembered.
