Obituary of Julienne Marguerite Maisonneuve

Julienne Maisonneuve of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the age of 78 years.

Julienne was born in McLennan Hospital, AB, on October 27, 1943 and grew up in Falher, AB. She moved to Calgary, AB, in 1967 after her marriage to Romeo Maisonneuve. Julienne was an entrepreneur with Herbalife since 1982 and was a member of the Millionaire Team for several years. She treasured her family and grandchildren and enjoyed hosting family events. Julienne’s most memorable vacation was when she went to Alaska for the summer of 1987.

Julienne could be heard saying the following sayings: “Everything happens for a reason!”, “God is punishing you!”, “You rat!” and “Good show!”. She will be most remembered for her gentle nature and empathy to everyone, as well as her love and devotion to her family.

Besides her loving husband, Romeo, Julienne is survived by her 2 daughters and 2 sons, Romeo JR. (Lynett) Maisonneuve of Calgary, AB, Tina Red-Iron of Leduc, AB, Cherie (Ian) Coates, and Laurier (Becky) Maisonneuve of Calgary, AB; 9 grandchildren, Barry and Torrell (Tia) Red-Iron of Leduc, AB, Jordan and Dylan Maisonneuve, and Jaydon, Samantha, Sierra (Akassh), Kacy, and Noah Perry, all of Calgary, AB; 4 great-grandchildren, Paul Norris Red-Iron of Leduc, AB, Quinn and Dominic Lund of Calgary, AB, and Rakshan Akassh of Calgary, AB.

Julienne is also survived by her 1 sister, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Julienne was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Cecile (Cote) Guenette, her brother Leo-Paul Guenette, and brother-in-law Marcel Bruneau.
