Obituary of Michael Joel Bondar

July 18, 1950 – July 29, 2022

Michael Bondar passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Michael is survived by his loving wife Annabelle of 50 years, his children, Darren (Marnie) Bondar, Amy (Joe) Bondar-Waldman, Sari (Rob) Staniloff; his cherished grandchildren Jonah, Chloe, Lily and Sauly; and grand-dogs Humphrey and Bagel. He is also survived by his brother Stewart Bondar and sister Cory (Joel) Sawyer, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Sam and Muriel Bondar; and his sisters, Susan and Laurie Bondar.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice in Mike’s memory.  Funeral services will be held at the Erlton Street Cemetery (Erlton Street and 30 Avenue SW) on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with friends and family invited afterwards to the Beth Tzedec Synagogue to reminisce and share memories.
