Condolences
Elveda, Kevin and Michael,
I learnt earlier this evening of the loss of your husband Bill.
Please accept my condolence, and to your sons, the loss of their father. Though we never met, Nicole spoke of him fondly and from reading his obituary, I sense that he was a great person.
Sincerely,
Lynette (Nicole's aunt)
Bill was a fine person who left the world a better place. We have many memories of good times at Foothills and and of his singing and of his photography and participation in CBEREA..

Deepest Sympathy Evelda, , Kevin and Michael and families,
It was a sad day to read Bill's Obit, may he rest in peace. An active member of Palliser Community where I first met this happy guy with the wonderful smile. That smile was always there whether it was singing with the Master Singers or he was in hospital. Always with a positive attitude. The world is better place because of you Bill. I'm sure I can hear you Singing with the Angels! Blessings to all of you, Wilma Clark
Thanks for broadcasting the service/.

As we reminisce about Bill we are mindful of his life well lived, his love of family, his success in business, his contributions to his community and his keen interest about our world through books and travel.
Bill was an attentive listener and always inquired with genuine interest about our family in even the briefest of conversations. His smiling, pleasant demeanor always put one at ease both socially and professionally.
Rest in peace Bill knowing you have have left a wonderful legacy for your family and friends.

I just wanted to say that I am sorry to hear about your Dad. Glad that he was stubborn enough to make it to his 85th birthday, and hopefully he had cake!
It is never easy to loose a parent.
Just know that our condolences are with you and your family.
Take care.
Hugs to you Mike.

I remember Bill from working with him for many years on the National Executive of As One That Serves (AOTS), the men's organization of the United Church of Canada. He served a term as president. His gracious and considered wisdom was always a welcome addition to our deliberations over the years. He often attended our national meetings and roundups at the Salvation Army, Jackson's Point Conference Centre north of Toronto with his good friend Wally Shoults and on one occasion with his beloved wife, Evelda. His voice was front and centre in the choir for the weekend service, A devoted church worker, Bill showed up for God and the church. My condolences to Evelda and all of Bill's family and friends.
Evelda and family,
We send our love as you say goodbye to your husband and father. I always looked forward to his singing when he attended church in Maidstone.

I would like to pass on my sympathy to Evelda and family. My memory of Bill was some years ago of his trip to Ireland to see the birthplaces of his father Courtmacsherry. It was a wonderful day weather wise and hopefully he enjoyed it as much as i did showing him around. I also remember he had some difficulty driving on the left hand side but he got there.
I will always remember Bill's love of music. His singing in the choir and hymn leading were a gift to the entire congregation. He was a wonderful man, a man of deep faith and love. He will be missed. My condolences to the entire family.

Dear Evelda & Family- I’m so saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. Bill’s ability to smile so widely & sincerely, right up to his forehead & beyond, was always so delightful. I served in the choir with him & consider that to have been a blessing & a privilege. His cheerful gentleness will be missed. Sincere sympathy & condolences. .
The short time I got to know Bill he was always interested in meeting new people. He took the time to listen and learn from everyone he met. He had a great memory that allowed him to recall names and discussions as if it was yesterday. He was a social guy who loved to have lunches with his friends. Rest in peace Bill, you are already missed.
Dear Evelda and family,
It is with deep sadness that we have learned of the death of your beloved Bill. He was a prince of a man, filled with a sense of goodness and integrity. And that is how he lived his life. He was faithful, loyal and a man of deep faith. A shining light to all of us who were blessed to call him friend.
Know that you and all of your family are being held close in the circle of our love and prayers.
Many blessings and much love,
Linda and Gordon Hunter
