Condolences
Darren, Jamie, and Kati, it is with deepest condolences that we learn of your Mom’s passing. I met your Mom at gymnastics and we ‘clicked’ immediately in sharing our Manitoba roots, Blue Bomber fandom, and just plain passion for our kids. We then shared in dance with Jamie and Kati in our dance studio, both Jill and Darren being so supportive of their kids. We will, forever, treasure the short time we were fortunate to know Jill and her energy, passion in all things she did! You girls will forever be guided by your Mom’s love as it lives through you and sending our love and support, Leslie, Scott, Roxy & Dex.
Darren, Jamie and Kati,
We were so saddened to hear of Jill's passing, she was truly one of the good ones. I have so many fun and wonderful Memories of Jill, but I will start with how we met in Fort McMurray as gymnastic moms. Kati and Calle were teammates then became fast friends often having playdates where Jamie and Anna and sometimes Kyle would participate and as Jill would say with her beautiful smile “the more the merrier”.
There are so many fond memories, but we often talk about how Jill knew how to throw a party. When the girls were about 6, Kati was all about fashion and the birthday party theme was to dress as a Hollywood star. Jill didn’t hold back and hired a Limo to pick up all the kids, the limo pulled up to our house, Kati jumped out of the Limo to greet Calle as she bolted from the house and ran out to the birthday girl who if I recall was wearing a feather boa, they giggled and off they went. She really knew exactly how to make everyone’s kids feel special not just her own. Not only did she know how to throw a party, but she was also an unforgettable party goer. My 40th birthday party was one to remember…. Jill and Darren were in attendance and quickly became the life of the party. A few drinks, broken wine and martini glasses later, a spatula and the kitchen Island being occupied as a dance floor for these two with the Black-Eyed Peas playing “I Got a Feeling”, what an unforgettable night! We had so many unforgettable times and it is those times I will hold close to my heart. I had some wonderful visits with Jill, sharing feelings, sharing secrets and most of all sharing our friendship together and even though it’s been a while, I know we will meet again.
Jamie and Kati, your Mom lives on in you leaving behind her amazing legacy which will live on in you and for years to come.
Our most heartfelt condolences to Darren, Jamie (Jared), Kati (Matt), Gwendolyn (Maurice) and her entire family.
With Love from,
Julie, Mike, Kyle, Calle and Anna Inkster
So sorry to hear of Jill's illness and passing. I will always remember her kindness and spirit. Thinking of you at this difficult time.
I am sad to hear of the passing of our beautiful friend and colleague. Although our careers only brought us together for a short time I felt like I had known Jill so much longer. We miss her bubbly personality and zest for life. One thing I always loved was that you always got the real Jill. An honest and caring Jill. She was a diamond. One if a kind. Rest In Peace my friend. Love always from Kasey and the rest of your Servus Credit Union family.
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of this beautiful woman’s passing. Darren I worked with Jill back in the day at the Sylvan Lake Credit Union. I remember the first day she walked in with that big genuine smile and her hand stretched out. I knew then that she was someone special. I remember that same big smile on the day she married you. She loved large and selflessly. The last conversation I had with Jill was several years ago when she was visiting Sylvan. She was telling me about the fence she was building at your place in Ft McMurray. There’s wasn’t much that girl wouldn’t take on. She was such a pistol. To your daughters…my heart breaks for you as you had such a terrific mom. I know without a doubt she fought her hardest to stay with you all. Life is just so goddamn unfair sometimes. She was good to the core. You all have my very deepest condolences. Hold each other tight. Rest well Jilly Bean❤️
On behalf of your work family here in Calgary and at Kearl, we are so very sad to hear of your wife's passing, Darren.
I never had the opportunity to meet Jill, but she sounds like a wonderful and strong person. You and your family are in our thoughts.

So very sorry to hear about Jill's passing. I worked with Jill at CWB and one of my favorite memories of her was when she dressed up as a hippy for Halloween - it was awesome! We had some good times! Thinking of you Darren, Jamie, Kati and family.
I am so sorry to hear of Jill's passing. I worked with Jill a while ago, and she was one of the strongest women I have ever met. We will all miss her beautiful smile and positive attitude. My sincerest condolences to the family during this time of greiving.

Dear Darren, Jamie, Kati and family,
It is with great sadness that we send our condolences to all of you as you grieve the loss of your beautiful wife and mother. Jill was a wonderful person and we think of her amazing smile and laughter when remembering time spent with her in Fort McMurray. We spent many dance nights at Keyano visiting while waiting for the girls. Our last visit was when we stayed at your home in Calgary when Karlee was searching for a place to rent while going to school there. Any time spent with Jill was always a pleasure. We hope that knowing how deeply we care will help ease your pain in some small way. Jamie and Kati….your mom will live on in both of you in all that you are and all that you do. God Bless all of you at this difficult time. Cherish the memories until you meet again.
Love,
Donna and Darren Davidson and family
