Condolences
I recently heard the sad news of Joyce’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
My mother Frances(Stretchy) thought very highly of Joyce, as did my sisters and myself. She was a shining light who could make those around her laugh. Joyce was always very thoughtful and never missed a chance to offer a kind word or assistance when needed. She was devoted to her family and proudly loved sharing stories of their comings and goings.
Joyce will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will bring a smile whenever one thinks of her.
Rest In Peace.

I was so saddened to hear of Joyce’s passing.
Joyce was a childhood friend of my mother Frances Bielby.
I remember Joyce as a child, and enjoyed speaking with her on the phone from time to time in the later years. She was so proud of her family. Joyce was a beautiful lady, incredibly kind, wise, warm, and sincere. I remember her for spunk and sense of humour as well. Both her and Lou made a huge difference in the lives of our family, and I will never forget their incredible kindness. She has left a wonderful legacy, and will be remembered for a life well lived. She will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with all of her family.
Dear Cousins:
I was sorry to hear of Auntie Joyce's passing. She had been on my mind recently, and I was wishing that I had gotten to know her better. I admired her. I perceived in her some feistiness, that wonderful Kennedy wit, stylishness, and a commitment to good health! She's kind of a legend in our family, having written that great memoir: No Fixed Abode. The memoir gave us all more insight into our dad's upbringing, and provided a springboard for more conversations about this shared history among the siblings: what a gift!
Wishing you all much loving kindness as you mourn.

Dear Pat,
Cecile and I would like to express our sincere condolences to you and all of your family members on the passing of your mother. She has left you a wealth of memories to look back on and you're so very fortunate to have had her as a part of your lives for so many years.
I have many fond memories of chatting with Joyce at the Iannone Home, as a teenager waiting to hang out with Skip or Bob. Your mother was a lovely person. All of my condolences to the six siblings and your families. Jim Whitehouse
Dear Lisa, Jacques, Sam, and Jacqueline,
We were very saddened to hear about Mrs. Ianonne's (Joyce) passing. There are many memories...visiting from Vancouver and always welcomed by her and Mr. Ianonne (Lou), Lisa's and Jacques' wedding, their surprise anniversary celebration at Joyce's condo organized by Caroline and Joyce, and the trips from the Maritimes due to speed skating camps or competitions where each time we had great visits with her....loved her sense of humour, enjoyed her wisdom and insights, and admired her many talents (mother of six, artist, student, author, and lover of flowers, to mention just a few).
We appreciated her deep love of family be it her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be so missed, but, there is no more suffering or frustration. Lisa and Jacques...we acknowledge all that you did for Joyce...it is a testament of your love and kindness that she and Lou gave to you. Heartfelt best wishes and love,
Nan, Bert, Liv, Noah and Barrett XO
Its definitely a heartbreak that this lovely lady has passed. She was so interesting with her humour and her different hobbies. She was also an artist, which is why we connected very quickly. During my first year, I’ve made a lovely sculpture for her and her family to possess. She was always a pleasure to have her around whenever there was a large family gathering at the house or a small family supper. Her humour sparked the room and lifted everyone’s spirit. You will be missed Joyce.
Our love and condolences to all of our Iannone cousins. Auntie Joyce and mom were so closely intertwined. We all grew up knowing, thanks to mom's stories and Auntie's beautifully written memoir, about their shared experiences growing up "Kennedy". I know they loved each other dearly and I wish that I could have spent more time with Auntie. Such a great loss but a beautiful legacy left to cherish. Judi
