Obituary of Norma Schwartzenberger

Flora Mary Norma Schwartzenberger (nee Little) of Calgary, AB, Passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2022, at the age of 99 years.
Mom was born in Carbon, AB on January 25, 1923, the youngest of five children. Mom was married to her beloved husband, Anthony (Tony) for 59 years. Norma had eight children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a great baker, especially tarts. She loved square dancing, fishing, camping, and traveling. Most of all, she loved family gatherings.
Norma is survived by her daughters and sons, Mary Ann Buchanan (Ray), Grant Schwartzenberger (Leila), Donna Garland (Bill), Kathy Goodwin, Joe Schwartzenberger, and Shelley Hostland (Kelly). Mom was predeceased by her husband Tony on January 21, 2006, and two of her sons, Wayne in 1972 at the age of 25 and Lawrence in 1978 at the age of 24.
A Celebration of Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday August 12, 2022, at 10:00 am. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
