Condolences
Rose and the Belot Family;
I write to express to you and your family the sincere condolences of the Patricia’s on the passing of Robert Belot. His service was many years ago now, and the war in Korea was a cold and miserable one, but his contribution to the fight there was important.
The Regiment remembers Robert's service, and you and your family I am sure are proud of that service. His name will be read in this year’s list of the lost when we read that out on November 11th, 2022 in the Sacred Space in Beechwood, the National Military Cemetery, Ottawa. His name will also be listed in the 2022 edition of the Patrician’s Last Post section, published in March 2023.
Thank you for obviously supporting Robert after his service. We are glad that he had a wife and a large and vibrant family.
Thank you all.
Brigadier-General Vince Kennedy (Retired)
Colonel of the Regiment
Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry
On behalf of all ranks of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry Regimental Headquarters, please accept our condolences on the recent passing of Robert Belot, a proud member of our Regiment. His name will be added to our Last Post so his Regiment and friends whom he served with will remember his spirit and history.

Condolences to the family from all members of the Edmonton Branch of the PPCLI Association. Once a Patricia Always a Patricia. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember him. May he RIP
The memory of my dad is the last time I saw him. He really cemented how important I was and always had been to him as his daughter. Debra
My memories of Bob are the honesty, generosity, and funny things he said and did. He will be missed and remembered. ❤
I am unable to attend the service but wanted to express my condolences to Rose, and Bob's Family. I was a supplier to Bob when he worked at Ronalds/Quebecor. He was tough but fair. Fiercely loyal and supportive of his staff. I am glad to see he was able to enjoy many years of retirement with Rose.... she deserved that after all of the "socializing" we did in the industry back then in the name of "business". Thoughts and prayers are with you all

My deepest condolences to my friend Rose and the rest of Bob's family. My father Tony worked with Bob for many years and became his friend, as did my mother Roz, with Rose. We enjoyed many lunches together with a larger group of ladies. My dad, now deceased, was a talented artist and presented Bob and Rose with a painting of their dog Bear, I believe. I hope they had many years of enjoyment from it.
Our deepest condolences to Rose and to Bob's family, especially to his daughter Linda & her family.. We were very blessed to have Bob as a caring neighbour for over 25 years and we will miss having him and his lovely wife Rose next door. RIP Bob.
