Celebration Of Life

Condolences
I remember your father as a wonderful dad. I never had a dad and always wished that there was a father in my life half as good as yours was. Being an only child, I also so envied you your large group of siblings playing about and sharing your time with each other. Your close-knit family is truly blessed. May your dad rest in peace and love along with your mom.
I remember your dad as being a great husband and father. I never had a dad. I remember wishing that there was a dad in my life nearly as good as he was. Being an only child, I also wished I could have had such a happy family of siblings as your family had. Your family is truly blessed. May your father rest in peace and love!!!
I remember how elated my Grandmother got, beaming with excitement, “the Sawatzky’s are coming for dinner tonight!”
all these years later I think of your mom and dad every day, in the most unusual way. Betty and Henry brought a sample plate of appetizers from Eau Clair came to the last birthday party we had friends over for my grandma Anna Rempel. I use that platter as a dry rack for my dishes and when I look at it, every day, I picture your parents and a smile on my grandma‘s face when they gave it to her.
I got to know both Henry and Betty through the CSEG. Henry and I had some great conversations about his work and more so life in Saskatchewan. He was a true gentleman and an all around really nice human being. Please accept my deep condolences for your loss.

Our deepest sympathies Dianne and family from Doug and Bonnie Gerlitz. I only met your dad a couple of times but found him to be a wonderful gentleman. His obituary shows he lived a very interesting life through hard times and good times. Looks like he was also a great family man so you will have wonderful memories to cherish.
What a wonderful tribute to a well-loved family man. His legacy of love & caring lives on in those who are left to mourn him! May his memory be eternal!

What a wonderful tribute to your father and friend. I will always remember fondly visits with Henry and Betty. He truly had a life well lived that impacted so many. As I shared with Heather, when I watched your Dad march with other veterans in Ottawa, as he came into view I burst into tears and cried. It was such a moving moment for me and I’m so grateful for his service to us all. Please accept my sincere love and condolences. Enjoy all the remembrances that will come to mind as you all spend time together. With love. Diane Kuhns
