Gerri Schroeder (nee Knaus), beloved wife of Albert Frank Schroeder, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the age of 88 years.

Gerri was born in Calgary, AB, on March 24, 1934. Gerri graduated from Western Canada High School in 1952. Gerri married Albert in 1958. She was employed with Sears Canada Chinook Centre for over 25 years, 70s through the 90s. Gerri was an avid downhill and cross-country skier, and in the off-season, she was quite the hiker and cyclist. Gerri had a passion for fitness and nutrition.

Gerri is survived by her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Darryl and LaVerne of Calgary, AB, and Bradley of Toronto, ON; and one cousin Marion and William Benner.

Gerri was predeceased by her loving husband Albert Frank Schroeder, mother Elizabeth Knaus, father Mr. Knaus, two brothers, Frederich Knaus, and David Knaus; and sister Laura Clifford.

Graveside Service will be held at Queen's Park Cemetery (3219-4th street NW, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
