Condolences
Sending love to all the family. I have so many fond loving family memories of Reuben, Olive, and family…many family gatherings, love and laughter . Merle (Dahlstedt) Ewonus

My heart is heavy and sad for the loss of my beautiful friend.
I met Karen in 1997 when we both lived in Agassiz, BC; she has been a dear, treasured friend to me over the past 25 years.
I will always remember her as such a loving, caring, supportive friend.
I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have from the time we spent together.
We shared a lot of laughter and tears over the years. I wish there had been more.
I am so grateful for her friendship and love. My life is richer for having her in my life.
I will miss you my friend.
Jill and Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss. I am sending my love and support to you and your families. Your mom was so proud of you and her beautiful grandchildren. I wish I could be there today to remember and mourn with you.
Love always,
Rachel (Bill, Wendy, and Rob, too)
Hugs to all our cousins out west... even though we don't get together very often, we always feel connected. People often get my name wrong, calling me Karen instead of Kristine (the K-Kristine throws them off), but as a kid I felt complimented by that because of my wonderful cousin Karen. A favourite memory of one of our few visits to Calgary was chatting in Olive's kitchen one morning with Karen & Olive & my dad Stan, snacking on coffee, cheddar cheese and toast. Funny how vivid and comforting that memory has always been.
Sending love and light. When I was a little girl I was in love with Karen. She was so beautiful and so kind. My dad adored his niece. We were so proud of our western cousins.
