Obituary of Conrad Maurice Loban

August 28, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Conrad Loban, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully with his wife Gillian at his side, on Saturday, August 28, 2022, at the age of 91 years.

Conrad worked for the Provincial Government for twenty-five years. He was involved with most of the major buildings in Southern Alberta for which he was awarded an Architectural Fellowship.

Besides his loving wife, Conrad will be lovingly remembered by his children, Simon Loban, Mandy (Damian) Loban-Jordan; and greatly missed by his grandchildren, Alicia and Katrina. Gillian’s sister, Diana Story, and Simon Loban’s wife, Rebecca Richardson and their children Nicolas and Camille Beausejour remember him with love.

A Celebration of Conrad’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Loban’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service.
