Adeline Bode of Calgary, AB passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the age of 92 years.
Adeline came to Canada with her family 68 years ago. Over the years her family grew; she was blessed with five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her family was everything to her. She loved to travel and take her grandchildren on numerous trips; often they would just jump into the motor home and vacation for several weeks throughout the year. She and Ewald had a wonderful time traveling together. They travelled to the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, and Europe many times.
Adeline is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Eric Bode and Arno and Bonnie Bode; her daughter and son-in-law Brigitte and Ted Sauermann; her five grandchildren, Lisa (Chad), Amanda, Jeff (Christine), Scott (Tannis), and Tanya; and her seven great-grandchildren, Madison, Mitchell, Jeremy, Lainey, Natasha, Steven, and Logan. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ewald Bode in 2018.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
