Obituary of Doris Allen Cooper

Doris Cooper, beloved wife of the late Larry Cooper of Calgary, AB passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at the age of 91 years.
Doris and Larry were married in Calgary on September 11, 1953. Doris and Larry lived in Landsing, Michigan where they had two children, Cory and Frank. After returning to Calgary Carol and Cathy joined the family. Doris was proud to live and work in Calgary. She was an accomplished business owner. She was co-owner of Top Notch Personnel, a secretary placement agency. Doris loved games of chance including blackjack and horse racing.
Doris is survived by three daughters, Cory Cooper Hansen (Stan) of Cave Creek, AZ, Carol Simpson (Mark) of Okotoks, AB, and Catherine Cooper of Calgary, AB; granddaughters, Kelsey Hansen (Brian) of Bellemont, AZ, Bree-Anne Falcon (Ben) of Barrington, IL, Marcie Kirk of Okotoks, AB, Lindsay Simpson and Leslie Jewell of Calgary, AB; great-grandchildren, Abigail Kirk, Ethan Jewell, Connor Stern, and Emily Stern; two brothers-in-law, Ron Cooper, and Bob Cooper (Arvella), both of Calgary, and her sister-in-law Jocelyn Cooper of Calgary, AB. She was predeceased by her husband Larry, son Frank Cooper, sister Patsy Medicoff, brother Gerald McArdle, sister-in-law Joyce Cooper, brothers-in-law Ken Cooper and Harry Medicoff, and son-in-law Brian Hansen.
