Condolences
Oh Dennis, I forgot your birthday. Again! Anyway Happy Birthday and I know you are doing well because you did so here on earth with us. I'm sure you try to connect with your peeps here but like fishing you have to wait for the right conditons. You know how we get all busy, heavy and tuned out, makes it tricky. Let play 'knock knock' sometime. If there were emojis here I'd put a whole string of them like you used to. LOL. Thinking of you. Love you. Yak tom.
I Send My Heartfelt Condolences to Judy, Mike, Kari, Bob, Val, Bernie and the Rest of The Big Broda Family. What a Loss.
Dennis Broda was an Awesome Man, I am Grateful I had the pleasure to know him and work for him. I met Dennis when I was 16 years old and began working for him through Thiele Drywall, I continued to work for Dennis and Bob when they began Broda Drywall. They were the best guys to work for Hands Down! Dennis had a way of humbling me and I did not even know it. The world was definitely a better place with him in it.
Too Young …Too soon
RIP ……… Dennis
Dennis was a special soul and we will miss him. He had the best chuckle and was always positive and laughing. I very much enjoyed his company and stories and only wish that we had spent more time with. Rest in piece you big teddy bear.

Dear Judy,Mike and family and Kari our hearts ache for you. Can’t even begin to express our feelings. In the coming weeks may you find comfort in your memories, all the heartfelt messages and the love and support from your friends and family. To Bernie,Bob,Sharon and all of Dennis’s family that he loved so much and talked about his fun times and get togethers with all of you. You brought happiness to him. Our hearts are very heavy for your loss, we are keeping you in hearts and thoughts. Our sincerest sympathies.
Ivan and I are also still trying to deal with the reality that Dennis won’t be part of our lives anymore. Our circle is broken. In the past couple weeks we have talked, cried and laughed going through photos of good times with a good friend. Thankyou Dennis for being the friend that we all hope to be and for nothing but good memories. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Xo.
Judy, Mike, Kari, Bernie, Bob, Sharon & extended family
Elmer & I (Glenda) would like to send our deepest condolences to you all on this saddest occasion. We both have broken hearts from the loss of our dear friend. As all of you who knew Dennis knows, he was the one with the BIGGEST heart of all. His kindness and generosity went way above & beyond. Not sure if we could ever come close to the standard he set but hopefully with the fond memories we have of him it can get us close to his level.
Palm Springs will never be the same to us without Dennis being there to hang out with. His adventurous side got us out & about to places we wouldn’t normally go, His love of eating out pushed us to try new foods, but mostly his prankster side will always be remembered each time we golf. Just a few days ago driving the cart on the course i couldn’t get it to start & immediately we thought of Dennis, who has more than once turned the key off when we weren’t looking. LOL.
Dennis & Judy has always made us feel like family. And vice versa, our family felt they too are apart of ours. That was the way they treated their friends. You all are a very special family and we are very blessed to have been apart of your love and kindness, thank you for sharing this special man (Dennis) with the rest of us. He will never be forgotten.
Glenda & Elmer Pelensky

My sincere sympathy to you on Dennis’s passing. I’m so sorry to hear this.
I have many good memories of Dennis even though I haven’t seen him in many years. Bob took me over to Dennis & Judy’s house soon after I moved to Calgary and always felt warmly welcomed by them. He had a very hospitable demeanour about him.
Love to you guys.

Dennis….every memory I have of Dennis has him smiling and laughing and “razzin” someone.
My Dad Slim, and I have been remembering stories of the camping and fishing times that included my parents.
Dennis had the most generous, gracious, loving heart and was so inclusive of /welcoming to all of my family(his brother’s in-laws). He is one of the kindest men I know( and had great big bear hugs).
My thoughts are with all of your family now, during your grief. What great memories you have to hold.

My son Nick and myself want to say how sorry we are that Dennis is no longer with us in the physical but is forever in our memories and our hearts. I once said to him that he was a 'peaceful warrior' to which he replied, 'not a warrior, a lover'. So here's too that 'higher ground' he walked, fished, golfed and always stayed in touch. Thanks Dennis for being a friend to the end. Lots of love cousin.

Dear Judy and her kids and grandkids,
I am so sorry for your loss. While I've spent times with you guys a few times, Dennis has forever left an impression on my heart. He was this giant teddy bear that took my parents under his wing when they started travelling to Palm Springs. I remember them saying that Bernie had a brother and he has a place down there and they started hanging out with him (and Judy) and really hit it off.
I'm most sad about how close he was to my parents (my Dad specifically - Elmer). As you know my dad has a severe hearing loss, and while he lives his life without letting it get him down, its rare for him to find friends that accept him for who he is, speak in a manner or get his attention and make sure he understands them and then on top of it, actually be good friends. Dennis was this person - his sweet, kind sole shone through his smile and the way he talked to others. I'm so grateful that my dad had a friend like that, his world is turned upside down now as Dennis was his best buddy that he golfed with occasionally and went for soup with.
One memory of Dennis I want to share is when the first time I met him. My husband and I had just spent a few days in Las Vegas, and decided to rent a car and drive to Palm Springs to visit my parents. After heading that way, my mom phoned and said they were evacuated in their gated community because of a bomb threat (gotta love the US), and that they were staying with Dennis in the meantime, so she asked us to meet them at his house. When we got there, my mom had run out to grab a few groceries and wasn't back yet, so Dennis (having just met us) thought it would be a funny joke to pretend that we eloped in Vegas (even though our planned wedding was only a few months away). He borrowed his wedding band to my husband (Kris) and everyone carried along when my mom got back and we all had the biggest laugh! He went on to show us his amazing mini putt course that he designed to match different PGA courses across the US. He was so proud.
The world has lost a graceful, kind, special, man. He has left an impression on our hearts and I will try and remember to see the world in the same light he did. Rest in peace.
All our lives are richer due to Dennis’s kindness, compassion and generosity. He will be missed.
Dearest Judy, Karry and Mike. My deepest sympathies for your loss. The passing of Dennis will leave a tremendous void in the souls of those who loved him, and everyone who ever met and knew him - loved him. Until we meet again my friend.
Dear Judy and family,
Heaven gained on one the finest, and we lost one of the finest. Dennis was a wonderful human being, kind, thoughtful, helpful, funny. Loved you and loved his family and had a great love for his friends, we always felt that. Where ever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.
Judy and family.
Dennis was was the kindest men I have ever met. He will be sorrily missed. Our sincerest condolences go out to you and your family.
Dear Judy and family.I am so sorry for your loss. Dennis was one of the kindest persons I have ever known. Heavens gain is our loss. Rest easy friend.my sincere sympathy to you all.
How do you say goodbye to one of the kindest, inclusive, not a bad bone in his body guy. I thank my lucky stars to have met him & then Jude.
He quickly became a friend, brother, father figure and a hilarious golf partner to my hubby Paul. We have a video of him having a tantrum on the links after missing a birdie. I’d post it but much of the dialogue would have to be omitted. Lol
Our life in California was all the better for our association with him & quite frankly will never be the same.
Our loss is Heavens gain. Till we meet again Big Guy. You have your wings now.
Dear Judy, Sharon, Bob, Bernie and Family.
I am so sorry for your loss. Dennis was like a brother to me and he will be forever in my heart. He was such a kind, generous, funny, loving soul. He’s probably having a good golf game with Mom and Dad right now. My heart goes out to all of you. I will miss him terribly.
Love Jackie, Mac and Sydney
