Private Celebration of Life
Condolences
Such a wonderful man, and family. Many, many great memories from time spent at their home. The ping pong, Sunday roast, and family love - I never wanted to go home. Much love to Margaret, Roger, Stephen and families.
Gwynne is one of the most inspirational men to my life and still sticks with me for the time we had together. I will always be proud to have had the privilege of being your Great-Grandson. Thank you for being a part of my life.
Dear Margaret,
This has been a hard time, especially for you. I remember you Gwynne dancing at the Legion, all the wonderful friends you had, and especially staying with Gwynne for a week. He loves playing cards and we played often. No matter how hard I tried, how patient he was giving me help, HE BEAT THE PANTS OFF ME! We ate hamburgers, drank coffee and just plan had a wonderful time together.
He was the BEST Grandfather any child could have. Jenny and Sarah and Christi respected him and loved him dearly. Evan and Dylan enjoyed time with you and Gwynne and Evan wrote about Gwynne's life as a boy living in Wales during the war. I will always remember the wonderful times we all had with you and Gwynne. I miss him and am so grateful I had that special time with him.
Our sincere condolences to all of the Jones Family. Growing up beside and ever engaging with the Jones family helped built my character as I grew in age. Mr. Jones, or as he repeatedly told me to call him Gwynne, as his dad was Mr. Jones, was a man I looked up to and respected, and I continually enjoyed visiting with Gwynne and Margret right up to the last 3 or 4 years.
With a genuine Welsh accent that I had to listen hard to comprehend, one idiom he used I always remembered, "Nothing like brute strength and ignorance to getting the job done." Rest in peace Mr. Jones (Gwynne)
Best Regards, Stan & Carolyn Androsoff
