Condolences
I am saddened to learn that Roy has passed on, and send my condolences to the family for your loss.
When I worked with Roy at Petro-Canada, he was a consummate executive, resolute and forward looking, as well as compassionate and fair. One thing I learned in those days, and have always deeply appreciated, is that Roy was a man who kept his word, no matter how hard others tried to get him to break it. Knowing I could rely on him, in that way, affected me directly and positively, both professionally and personally. And I know that I am only one of many who feel the same way.

Dave and I were saddened to hear of Roy's passing. I have lovely memories of your visits to St. John's and I always thought of Roy as being a wise and witty person. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

Jan, Colin and Kristi,
My mom and I had a good chat today following Roy's service. Lots of good memories living next door in Mississauga; what wonderful neighbours you were. I remember Mr. Legge as being patient, always smiling and quick with a kind word.
Lots of love from the Boyd family to you all in the coming days.
Cory Boyd

Dear Jan, Colin and Kristi…we are so sad to hear of Roy’s passing and send our love and sincere thoughts to you all.
The Legge family were our next door neighbours many years ago in Clarkson, Ont. To this day we have never had nicer, kinder neighbours, ready to help out, often dropping everything to babysit or drive us somewhere. Roy was such a lovely man and so kind to the girls…even though they passed chicken pox on to him and Jennifer threw up on the velour seat of his brand new car!
Needless to say we still think of you all very often and especially now we send our love and condolences at this sad time. May you Rest In Peace Roy.
Eileen, David, Jennifer and Caroline xxxx
