Condolences
We have only just learned of the passing of Jean Rivers, whom we knew during our time at Cremona Congregational Church. She was a sweet, sweet person and it was always a pleasure to be in her company. Her family are in our prayers and we offer them our sincere condolences.
Thank you, Jean, for the time you shared with us. We are thankful that you now dwell in the presence of your Lord.

Jean and I share the same name as I used to call at her childhood home aged fourteen to walk her dog and mine in order that I could catch sight of her brother Bob. When we did eventually get married she was bridesmaid and when we had children Jean played a part in being Auntie. When she married on 1968 they made a plan in hoping to emigrate to Canada. In 1970 they did and we corresponded regularly by post as we had no telephone When Susan was born it was an emotional time with them being so far away. Then along came Linda and the family was complete. We eventually visited for the first time in 1988 and of course Jean returned here a few times. Her Mum and Dad went out too.
We are sorry to loose her but can only be grateful for the time she had in her adopted country and for the additions to our family. Also pleased for the great care we hear she received Oilfields Hospital.
