So very sorry to hear of Darilyn's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at Janet Johstone school, where my kids also knew her while attending there. She was a lovely lady. My sincerest condolences to the family.
My sincere condolences to Cory, Crag and family on the death of your mother and grandmother. It was my privilege and honour to work with Darilyn at Janet Johnstone School. She was well liked and respected by staff, students and parents. Darilyn was always a professional and her work was exceptional. I enjoyed her sense of humour, generosity, and outstanding inter personal skills. She was an awesome executive assistant. The world had lost one of the best! She will be missed.

I found this poem by Helen Steiner Rice and thought of Darilyn right away so I have adjusted it in honour of Darilyn Diane Cowper (nee Flank)
Darilyn is still with us
She never left our side
She still is close about us
Her spirit is our guide
For the blessed memory of her
Will lead us through each day
And the tender thoughts
we have of her
Are in our hearts to stay
She will be lovingly remembered

To Corey & Craig and family, you have our sincere condolences.
We moved yo our home in 2014, shortly thereafter I met Darilyn in the back alley. From then on we were good fiends . Both of us enjoyed baking, so often would share treats. I remember sitting in her kitchen discussing recipes. We sit in her yard sometimes or ours on summer days and drink iced tea. We both swept the back alley in the spring sweeping up all the gravel. We got along like two peas in a pod. It was so nice to have her when I lost my job. We walked the neighbourhood, chit chatted in the alley.
I miss you dearly but know who have no more pain and are at peace.
Till we meet again,
Val and Larry

I have lost one of my dearest and most loyal friends. Darilyn was the one who always helped with anything..gardening, putting in water softeners, recipes, lawn mowers and just always being there for others. We shared so much more over visits, birthdays etc. The world was such a better place with her in it. We will all miss her so much. My deepest condolences to All her family. Arleen Bronson
