Obituary of Lioubov Nikolaevna Plechkova

Lioubov Plechkova ``Lyuba``, beloved wife of Viatcheslav Plechkov, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the age of 65 years.

She was born to Nikolai and Svetlana Udin on January 15, 1957 in Biysk, Altaiskii Krai, Russia and married Viatcheslav Plechkov on November 17, 1979.

Lyuba graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Economics and Finance with a degree in Economics and began a successful career in Institute of Economic and Industrial Production Organizing before moving her family to Calgary in November, 2000. She enjoyed working for Oil and Gas industry and continued her thriving career at Worley Parsons by taking various project and joint venture assignments, as well as taking her last consulting role at Nexen Energy.

Lyuba had many achievements throughout her life and always had a passion to learn something new. She had an amazing ability to find happiness in her daily activities such as gardening, cooking, baking, knitting, and spending time with her granddaughter Valerie and son Denis. Lyuba was always ready to help her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.
