Condolences
Carmela, Angela, Frank and Families Our sincerest and most heartfell condolences on the loss of your beautiful mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all Leona rest in peace. I am so sorry I could not be at the funeral I was out of town.I will always cherish the memories of such an amazing women God Bless
Zia was one of my favorite people. I have never known anyone as welcoming and non judgemental as she was. She reminded me so much of my Nonno, her brother, so it was also so nice to be reminded of him in her manorisms and voice over all these years after he passed. My Nonna and her were partners in crime. She misses her dearly already. I have so many fond memories of Zia, her wonderful cooking, sense of humour and joy for life. And most importantly for her love of family. She made a impression. The kids both said "Zia with the olives?" when I told them Zia Leona was sick and were sad. The kids insisted on accompanying me to see her at the hospital that night. That's how much of an impression Zia has made on many of us. I'm glad she lived such a long and full life. But we lost a legend. Rest in Peace Zia. My condolences to everyone. Love Jessie, Bryant, Veruca and Milo Smith xoxo
To Angela, Bianca and families.
Deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Dear Carmela, Angela and families,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was such a nice lady, always with a smile. The last time I saw you with her was at Angela Serani's wedding, it was nice catching up and talking about "old times". Even though our moms didn't see each other often, when they did, they always had good chats and laughs. Sending you my deepest condolences, I know you will miss her. It's wonderful she had a big family and I know she enjoyed the time spent with all of you.
Love Angelina

I was sad to hear of Nonna's passing and my sympathies go out to her, larger than life family. She was Nonna to all, whether family or not. Her smile warmed my heart and I was thankful for the times I was part of family gatherings where she would come and spread joy. I will never forget when I asked if she would "adopt" me so I could have her as a Nonna, and with a big smile and a little laugh, she said, oh of course I thought you already were :).
She will be missed :(

It was a pleasure meeting Leona "Nonna" 4 years ago while visiting her grand daughter Gina. She opened her home and heart to us. So sorry we didn't make it back to visit her again before she was called home. Rest in Peace beautiful Nonna. We love and will Remember you always. Diana & Hino - Killeen, TX

Our condolences to the family, I had the pleasure of many memories of nonna. I loved visiting her as a child to her Bridgeland home.
Thinking of you all during this difficult times.
To zia Leona's loving family, we send you our deepest condolences. My dad, Joe, had the utmost respect for zia Leona and spoke very highly of her. He cherished their long talks and visits, which mostly consistef of my dad "venting", and zia Leona thoughtfully listening and feeding him delicious meals (of course). I, too, have many fond memories which I will continue to cherish, forever. Zia Leona has created a life we can truly celebrate even as we grieve. May your loving memories bring you comfort and peace during this difficult yet reflective time.
With love,
Sonia and Brad Meikle

To Carmela, Frank, Angela, and all your loving children, grandchildren, friends and relatives. We all grieve with you and share in this loss of such a cherished, founding member of our shared families. Zia Leona united us with her hospitality and welcomed us with her love. She was one of the last survivors from a period that formed who we all are today, as a family and as a community. The roots that she cemented have already proven to continue growing deeper and stronger 4 generations later. Her memory and legacies will continue to guide and comfort us all.
To all children, grandchildren and extended family Zia Leona was a beautiful sweet soul and I have wonderful memories of her from my childhood. She was the rock that took care of everyone effortlessly including herself after being widowed much too early in life. I loved her dearly as did my mother. I will miss her beyond words. Although easier said then done i know, try to stay strong and remember the full happy life she lived.
Love the Mustapics
