Obituary of Stacy Lynn York-Coughlan
October 18, 1973 - September 25, 2022
Calgary, Alberta
Stacy York-Coughlan, beloved wife of David Coughlan, of Calgary, AB, passed away, in her sleep, on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the age of 48 years.
Stacy is survived by her parents, Barry and Karen York; sister-in-law Maija York; nephews, Westty and William; niece Mady, sister and brother-in-law, Jody and Tony Reed, and their daughters, Ava and Grace; along with many extended family. Stacy was predeceased by her brothers, Steven York in 2014, and Sterling York in 1977.
Stacy graduated from William Aberhart High School in 1991. She spent three years in volunteer work before embarking on her more than 20-year career in the financial industry. Stacy took a one-year leave from her financial career to work alongside her brother Steven, for his construction company, building houses. In June of 2012, Stacy met the love of her life, David, her Irish pie-maker, and they married in March 2015. Stacy loved to travel; for humanitarian purposes, engaging in two Habitat for Humanity trips; and for pleasure, with too many places to name. She was so looking forward to travelling again after Covid.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
