I’m sharing this photo of Terry from 1979 as it was always one of my favourites. I thought he was the coolest and cutest boy in high school and I feel very blessed to have been in a relationship with him through high school and into the early 80’s. We had so much fun and cared deeply for each other. A friend of mine emailed Terry’s obituary to me and I was so very sad to read of his passing, one year ago today. I treasure the memories that we shared and always wished for him the very best. It warmed my heart to read that Terry’s life was filled with love, happiness and success. So fantastic that Terry followed his passion and was able to experience a successful career in dental therapy. I remember when he was receiving his training and first started working on people, he cared so much for each patient and strived to do his best every single time. He loved it! The fact that he became an instructor, so amazing! Just reading some of the messages, it is clear he was a great teacher and that he created an atmosphere that inspired future dental therapists to be confident and passionate about their own career choice. It touched my soul to read about Terry’s lifetime of generosity and the abundance of love he held in his heart for his daughters, grandson, and family members. I remember his parents, Melvin and Darlene, were amazingly kind and generous so Terry learned from two very special people. I am very sorry to hear of Darlene’s passing as well. My deepest condolences to Terry’s children and grandson, his Dad, his sister, his brothers and sister-in-law and his many nieces and nephews. May your precious memories of all the wonderful times you shared with Terry help mend your hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
