Obituary of Grace Evelyn Goddard

July 6, 1922 - Montreal, Quebec

October 6, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

 

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Grace Goddard announces the passing of their beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the age of 100.

 

She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Her memory will live on forever in their hearts.

 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (15 Templebow Road N.E., Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. MST. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Grace’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view it live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.

 

As an avid horse and racing enthusiast, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating in lieu of flowers to www.horseheroesalberta.com in Grace Goddard's name to help support the care of thoroughbreds Grayce and her colt Grayson.
