Obituary of Timothy Gary Horbay

Tim Horbay of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022, at the age of 61 years.

Tim was born in Saskatoon, SK. He was the youngest son of Jerry and Mildred Horbay. Tim was educated in Saskatoon and moved to Calgary in 1985. He worked in Building Management and Maintenance in Calgary for 20 years and then for the Health Districts covering High River and Okotoks areas. One of his passions was his Harley Motorcycle. He took great joy cruising on a sunny weekend on Highway 22 to Longview and to the Kananaskis area. He also did some travelling to the United States with his mother and sister, Bev. He liked to be in Saskatoon for Christmas and other holidays.

Tim is survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta. Tim was predeceased by his parents; his sisters, Karen and Beverly McBee; and his brother Gregory.

Tim passed away peacefully at the Fanning Centre. A special thanks goes out to the staff at Unit 37 at the Foothills Hospital where he was taken care of for a lengthy period this past two years.
