Obituary of Akira Konno

Akira Konno of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the age of 95 years. Aki was born in Mission City, British Columbia on January 27, 1927. 

Aki is survived by his children, Mel (Debbie), Gord (Leslie), Laurie (Guy) and Doug (Cheryl); brother Naozo (Marie), as well as numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Aki was predeceased by his wife Chiyeko, his parents, Yukio and Haru; brothers, Katsushige (Helen) and Tsutomu; sisters, Hisako (Masayoshi) Iwamoto, Sachiko (Harry) Ikebuchi and Ann Konno.

No memorial service will be held as per his request.
