Obituary of Danny Robert Repay

Danny “Dan” Repay of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the age of 75 years.

Dan graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1974. Dan was a successful businessman and ran Citywide Concrete and Construction for many years.

Dan loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hiking, dirt biking, and fishing. He was a kind, honest, generous, and intelligent individual. He was fun loving and enjoyed hearing/telling a good joke. He also enjoyed playing scrabble and crib.

Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbara Lindsay, daughter and son-in-law, Cassidy and Nicholas Friesen, his faithful dog, Riley.

He is survived by his four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Vic and Marg Vogel, Ken and Judy Vogel, Ralph and Donna Vogel, Fred Repay, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

At Dan’s request no funeral will be held. He will be cremated, and his ashes scattered at a place he loved, Canmore, AB, where he spent many carefree days exploring in the mountains.
