Obituary of Conchita Casauran Igne

October 19, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Conchita Igne of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the age of 62 years.

Conchita will be remembered for her big heart and her smile that lit up the lives of everyone she knew.

Besides her loving husband, Orlando Riguis, Conchita is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Benchley and Ginalyn and Benhur and Mariciel; and three grandchildren, Tristan Luigi, Terrynch Louise, and Benjamin Greigh. She is also survived by her three brothers, Teodoro Casauran, Nel Casauran, and Nazareno Casauran; and seven sisters, Maria Puducay, Aurora Flojo, Clarita Gamazon, Fe Dongara, Violeta Rodriguez, Jennelyn Calzado, and Janice Roque.

Conchita was predeceased by her first husband Benjamin Igne, and her parents Abraham and Genoveba Casauran.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Chita's prayer service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Prairie Sky Cemetery. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
