Obituary of Tony Greco
September 13, 1953 - October 25, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio (Tony) Pio Greco on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the age of 69 years.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Linda Greco, of 43 years, his daughter and son-in-law, Rita Greco and Michael Forfylow, and his daughter Melissa Greco; his brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Mary Greco; his sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and John Laratta; his mother-in-law Carina Casoria, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Annette and John Russo; and sister-in-law, Angie Casoria, all of Calgary. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins both in Canada and Italy. Tony was predeceased by his parents, Francesco and Margherita Greco; and father-in-law Angelo Casoria.
Born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Cosenza, Italy, on September 13, 1953, Tony immigrated to Canada in 1959, at the age of five with his parents, brother, and sister. He built an extraordinary life with his wife Linda and daughters, Rita and Melissa. Tony had a great passion for cars. He amassed a lengthy and successful career in the automotive industry with a 44-year tenure at GSL GM City.
Tony’s family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Tony’s amazing healthcare team: Dr. Daniel Heng, Dr. Scot Dowden, Dr. Donald Buie, Dr. Geoffrey Gotto, and the numerous doctors, nurses, and caregivers at St. Marguerite Manor and Dulcina Hospice for the care, love, compassion, and kindness that Tony received.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W., Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
