Leo Klyn of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the age of 73 years.
Leo was born in Rotterdam, Holland, the youngest of three boys. The family immigrated to Calgary, Canada in 1956. Dad grew up and went to school in Calgary but eventually found his way out to Cawston, BC where he married and started a family. For a city kid, he sure had a natural talent for farming. Leo took great pride in farming, and he was known for his high-quality tomatoes. Leo loved being outside throughout his life. Once Leo retired, he got to be outside more, he loved his motorcycle and going on trips with his many friends.
Leo really loved his family, his son Joel and his daughter Katie. He took great pride in his kids and loved his grandchildren, Cooper, Crosby, Gavin and Aidan.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
