Condolences
Our sincerest condolences to the Driedger family. Our memories of Helen are so sweet and precious as to how encouraging she was to us individually and to our Bible study group. We will remember her favorite Bible verse.Love and prayers Walter and Doreen Goertzen.
We spent 2 years in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, and attended church with Pete and Helen back in the early 1960s. We were a young couple with one child and really learned to love the Dreidger family. One summer while Pete and Helen were taking some continuing education classes, we moved into their home to take care of their 3 children, Kenny, Connie, and Eunice. Their niece, Silvia, was also living there that summer. We have precious memories of all the family. We have moved numerous times over the years and lost track of Pete and Helen but our fond memories of them have certainly not been forgotten, They were a great and godly example to follow. Helen Driedger’s Passing
Watching loved ones, mentors and fellow laborers depart from this world seems to be a weekly event these days. Faith, hope & love find convergence at each passing. Faith exhorts us to reach for that promised hope beyond the grave. Love evokes sadness over saying goodbye to those we love, albeit a temporary goodbye as someday we will join that happy throng.
This morning I read Psalm 71. When I came to v. 18 I thought of past days when Helen, I and few other faithful servants shared the Gospel in a weekly ministry. Seeing a lost soul repent and turn to Jesus was a joy Helen could not stop talking about. In subsequent years each time we met Hellen always turned the conversation back to those days when she became proficient at sharing her faith.
Tomorrow I depart for India for a ministry with 80-100 pastors CPE has trained over the past decade. Like Helen, “even to old age and gray hair, I will declare His might to another generation.” The next time Helen and I meet I am sure she will begin the conversation with…”remember when we shared the Gospel….” Looking forward to that day!

Psalm 71:17–21
17 O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.
18 So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.
19 Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?
20 You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again.
21 You will increase my greatness and comfort me again.
Sharing in your sorrow. My sincerest condolences, with love and comfort.
DEAREST EUNICE AND GARTH.
I MET MAMA HELEN ONCE. THAT WAS enough to make me feel so jolly and happy . Whatttt a kind sweet soul. Rest in peace dearest. I promise to cut your toe nails and finger nails when we meet again.
We extend our deeply felt sympathy to all the grieving families for the passing away of Helen a dear friend of our family, a mentor and a prayer warrior. We have sweet memories of our great fellowship with Helen and Peter.Psalm 116:15.
Dear family, Thank you for the message of your Mother's journey to Heaven. We extend our sympathy, but we also rejoice with you for the wonderful hope we all have that she is well and is with Jesus. We have special memories of both your parents befriending us as newlyweds in 1965 as we adjusted to life in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. In recent years your Dad called us in Pennsylvania (complete surprise). We talked to your Mother more recently in a phone conversation. We will always treasure the memory of learning to know your precious family. Your Dad, Mother, & Connie are waiting to welcome you all into their eternal home!! We will pray for comfort and strength during this time of loss in your family.

My condolences to the family. My memory is that
she was my teacher in kindergarten while we lived in Kenya. I will always be great full for that memory and all the contact we had after we left Kenya.

Praise the LORD for a lady who truly lived what she said she believed. We rejoice with her in the presence of the LORD. You as a family will miss her, but her life will continue to be present....like ripples in a pond...they never go away always bouncing of another life. She has left a life of consistent living before the LORD. Each of her E-mail messages were so up-lifting. We remember when she and her dear husband, Peter, came to Kenya. Those days are fixed in our memory. May the LORD's presence be rich and comforting to the family as you remember a very precious LADY!
My condolences to your family. Helen was such a special friend to me and I will treasure all of the times I spent together with her. Having her pray for each member of my family daily was such a blessing as well. I will miss her tremendously but I am so happy for her that she is reunited with her loved ones in heaven.
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear mom. She was a very dear and special person ! May God bring you all the comfort and love as you go thru this time of loss. Our loss is heavens gain. She fought the good fight! It is well with my soul.
