Devon Dean Watcheston, passed away on Monday October 31, 2022 in Calgary Alberta at the age of 29 years.
Devon Dean is lovingly remembered by his mother Twila Watcheston, father Dennis Winniski and brother Tristen Watcheston.
Devon Played Football for the Golden Hawks throughout his childhood and enjoyed watching sports. Devon’s charismatic character and loud contagious laugh brought so much unexpected happiness to the friends that crossed and shared his path in his short life.
Devon was courageous in the fight with his heart disease, always put his love and shared his smiles and kindness to those who needed it. Devon had the greatest number of friendships that gave him the unconditional love and support that he needed of them.
Devon leaves behind his Grandmother Imgard Winniski (ChalkRiver, ON) uncles Glen Winniski (Ottawa, ON), Shane Winniski (Jen) (ChalkRiver, ON). Aunties Georgette (Al) Hornberger, Sheila Watcheston, Melodie (Adam) Willems. His great Aunties Terry Delorme (Regina, SK), Sally (Jim) Johnston (Winnipeg, MT), Merle Harvey, Rose Manhas (Ochapowace FN) and numerous cousins.
Devon was predeceased by Uncles Gerald Pelletier, Roderick and Shaun Watcheston his Aunts Brenda Pelletier, Francine (Pepsi) Medicine Shield.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
