Condolences
I went onto Laura's Facebook page to wish her a Happy Birthday only to find out that she had passed away. I am so sad and send my thoughts and prayers to Debbie and Doug and all the other family members that will miss her sorely. My favourite memories of Laura are the time she and my cousin Janet (who was to become Laura's sister-in-law) stayed with us while they were writing their RN exams, I also remember her wedding to Janet's brother Jim.
Dear Hamilton Family
What a beautiful human being Laura is.
Stoic, quiet, intelligent, a great one on one conversationalist.
Patience was something she always tried to teach me.
I only had the pleasure of 12 years to listen to her stories that were wise & always rang true.. I will miss you Laura.
Enjoy your next journey. Love Diana North, your Hairdesigner
So sorry to hear of your loss. A classmate from RGH 1962. Enjoyed the visit with her at our 55 year reunion.
Sharon(Cooley)Thompson.
So many memories...from holding their first born Debbie, to Thanksgiving weekend just weeks ago. We could always expect a warm smile and hug whenever we had the opportunity to get together. Sharing stories new and old, finishing the puzzle sitting out on the table or sharing a game of cards all top the list. Another strong memory is the way Laura met challenges placed before, she was steadfast and always looking for independence in the path forward.
We extend our heartfelt sympathy to her children and grand children (and to all that know her); you are all in our thoughts at this time and into the future.
With Love from Wendy, Alondra and Nancy
The Hamilton Family,
I was so very sorry to read of Laura's passing and send my deep sympathy. We played a lot of bridge together and I enjoyed her company very much, always so calm and collected. We also shared an interest in needlework and were interested in the projects we were doing. My mother had hip surgery at the Rockyview and Laura was working on the ward. I always knew Mother was in good hands when Laura was looking after her. Keep your happy memories close and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Barbara Baldwin.
