It's with sadness to hear of Bobs passing. I didn't know Bob
for that long, but thru model trains he was fun to be around
and a wealth of knowledge. You'll be missed Bob,
rest in peace.
We were sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Life was kind enough to give us the opportunity to meet Bob and Pat. Bob was so great and spent lots of time with our son Jaymes. They were both sharing the same passion for trains!
He was so proud to have a friend like you Bob!
He will be missed...
Jaymes, Suzie and Steve Gagne
We were sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We first met Bob on the walkway as he threw a ball for Tasha. He loved to talk and always had a story to tell. Bob and Pat also welcomed us into their home for tea and conversation. He will be missed.
Bob and I go back to 1967 when I moved to Calgary. Did some railfanning together, with a very memorable trip to Dearborn, Michigan where we attended the NMRA National Convention in 1978 as a prelude to our convention in Calgary the following year. He was a very good photographer, especially of trains.
He will be missed by all that knew him.

Both Marg and I are very sorry for your loss. I first met Bob when I was about 12 years old. Bob was in my Dad's scout group the 8th Highlands Scouts. Bob wanted to learn flag signaling for a badge and I helped him with that!
In our later years, I have enjoyed many moments working on his layout, having lunches, our Monday evening South Bank Short Lines meetings, our Annual August Christmas Dinner and many other train related events! We shared a lot of stories, laughter and just talking about a lot of things that had our mutual interest.
Bob will also be missed by our larger community as he had served as the National Model Railroad Association 6 division president and helped lead in the formation of the Calgary Model Rail Society.
I will miss Bob's quick wit and his colorful stories. Rest in peace, good buddy!
